The best song in 1955 was a crazy song sung by Little Richard “Tutti Frutti”. The song really go people moving when Little Richard yelled out, “Bop bopa-a-lu a whop bam boo”. This song was written by Little Richard and Dorothy LaBostire. The song became his first major hit. It also introduced several of the most characteristic musical features in rock music such as loud volume, distinct vocal style emphasizing power and distinctive beat and rhythm. In 2007 the song was listed number one on Mojo’s The Top 100 Records That Changed the World and it was added to the registry of the U.S. Library of Congress National Recording Registry in 2010. What do you think of the song?
