Goodwill Industries doing their part to save food in Michigan

This is one news story you will not probably not see on the national news since it does not carry a sad story to get ratings. Goodwill Industries in North Michigan have this deal where they get food donations from 150 grocers, farmers and bakers to be sent to food charities in the area. 48 food banks and charities receive the food that was not eaten by customers. It is wise way to assist people in need around the Northern Michigan area.

It's a great service they do. Our local grocer (King Soopers) saves day old bread and other items for the food bank here. Our food system is so wasteful it's really a shame.
