We Are All Human

Humans or humanoids come in many types and sizes. We are all individuals and live in a society where we are expected to act a certain way. Acting any differently and we are thought of as strange or out of control. We certainly do not normally go into a school and kill. The twenty first century seems to have brought something new and different into the mix. And 'human' has both good and bad connotations. We begin to learn at a very young age. The good and bad things that happen around us. Children have a propensity for taking in whatever they see, hear, or feel. If they are not nurtured, loved and treated with kindness then the primitive part of our personalities will come to the surface and the good will lay dormant. There have been children found that had been living in the wildreness for long periods of time. They have no language, manners, or socialization. We can't expect them to act like a normal socialized child of their same age who has been living in a normal world. Like a person with a learning disability, to have a society of good people we must be consistant in our positive input and loving in our touch. Children learn from example. If all they see is death, killing, meanness and distruction and have little or no positive and nurturing input to offset this then they are going to grow into juvenile delinquents who care about no one but themselves and their needs. If a child has a personality abnormality and they have no one around them that notices or cares then that abnormality grows and manifests itself in a negative way over time. Children need guidance and love to become normal, good adults. So, with these thoughts in mind, I feel that parents who d0 not get their children in for counseling or whatever is needed is derelict in their duties as a parent. To me this is as bad as neglect. Your thoughts.

You've made some good points. Parents are responsible for teaching and nurturing their children to know right from wrong.

we are all indeed human, including the killers, bigots, rapists, - not just the folks we like - disability is also no barrier to being a member of the human race - education for all is essential and councelling for all who require it

^^^ so true! If we focused on everyone being human, that everyone deserves a healthy life that includes healthy food, shelter, and medical care.. then maybe the people who really do need mental help can get it.

I've been considered strange all my life. If others see something from a different view-point, it means I'm wrong

It's means you are different and they are not seeing it. Their loss.

We live in 21st century.Capitalism has distinguished us why we live in a better society. One class people live comfortably and other group works the whole day.Because of which the child can not give time. That is why the child goes astray.

If a parent wants to be a good one badly enough the parent can find time to spend with a child.
