What's for dinner? February 19

What's going on the dinner table tonight? Do tell! I am making NY strip steaks. I seasoned them with the Roasted Garlic Adobo that I made last week and am cooking them sous vide for a couple of hours before finishing them in a hot cast iron skillet. To go with them, we are having Mashed Potatoes Chantilly and a Charred Cucumber Salad from my More Mexican Everyday cookbook. It should be a good meal. That's what's happening here. What are YOU having? I want to know!

@NJChicaa - if mine has any rawness in it, my stomach will turn inside out. It has to be minimal or nonexistant.

That sounds delicious!!! We had steak a couple of nights ago with mashed potatoes and asparagus. I can assure you it won't be anything loaded with fats and carbs tonight. Probably a huge dinner salad with tuna and black beans.

I had a pot roast made in the crock pot with a blend of cauliflower, broccoli, and carrots. It turned out very good.

That sounds good. We had lasagna-its a rainy day and it was good to warm up to a meal like this today. I prefer our steak grilled, and its raining too hard for that here today. Enjoy your supper.
