Hi guys!
I've decided to read something and that's what got me looking for a good book
so, I stumbled across "The name of the Rose" by Umberto Eco
I'll give you a short description of it:
it is the debut novel by Italian author Umberto Eco. It is a historical murder mystery set in an Italian monastery, in the year 1327, an intellectual mystery combining semiotics in fiction, biblical analysis, medieval studies and literary theory.

So.. Have you ever read it? Did you like it or not? Or...
can you advise me any book to read?

I read the book and watched the movie which is also very good. If you like this kind of detective stories you may be interested by the series of sister Fidelma by Peter Tremayne. They are set in Britain and other parts of Europe during the 7th C. Less good than The Name of the Rose which is a masterpiece but worth reading.
