I will miss the curling. I will miss the hockey. I will miss watching the skeleton competition (while wondering how the athletes keep from screaming the whole way down). I will miss Johnny Weir's "Hunger Games" inspired hairstyles. And I will definitely miss those amazing special effects with the drones. Technology has come a long way, hasn't it?

That was a quick two weeks. I got to listen to it more on the radio than I got to watch on TV.

@spiderdust - I didn't get to watch any of it. And I always watch all of it.

@teamfreak16 You can still find some of it online, but it's kind of like watching a recording of the Super Bowl a few weeks later. You either find it frustrating or you still enjoy watching the sport.

I'm surprised at how little I caught of the figure skating.

I did not watch any of it and not sure as to why. Just not feeling it this time but glad you enjoyed.I miss the time when I was more enthusiastic about such things. It is a great honor for people who make it there and represent our country. I am a bit disappointed in myself now for not at least supporting that. Just felt off this time around and chose to get enlightenment from somewhere else. How did we do?

9 gold, 8 silver, and 6 bronze. Not too shabby! Shaun White got a gold for the men's halfpipe snowboarding, the women's hockey team got a gold, and the men's curling team got a gold.

@spiderdust Awesome, proud of them. Shaun White is a beast and a famous Californian. That I should have definitely watched. Thanks miss lady.

@crossbones27 Here you go!
Shaun White delivered the run of a lifetime to win gold in the men's halfpipe and the 100th Winter Olympic gold medal in United States history.

I have not watched at all the games. I only watched ice skating online, but not a lot.

I saw less of the figure skating this year, which is usual... often it's the most heavily televised Olympic sport, but we always managed to catch other sports when we watched.

Not having a television or even home internet I watched a total of one curling match (and only part of that match) at a friend's home.

I thought I'd see more of the figure skating than I did, but we saw a lot more curling than we usually get to watch.

I used to enjoy watching the figure skating when I was young but we don't have cable and I rarely watch anything. I don't like wasting time and if I watch tv I accomplish nothing else.

@spiderdust my boyfriend doesn't have cable or Hulu but he did watch it somehow online.

We don't have cable either, I saw it on Hulu. Often I wasn't sitting down in front of the TV and watching, but had it playing while I worked in the kitchen or cleaned the family room.

I enjoyed the winter games also, and will miss them. They really helped the month of February pass quickly as I was so in-tuned to watching the different events. The events held at the winter games are my favorites, much better then the summer ones.

I like the winter ones best myself, although I didn't see nearly as much as I would have liked. I do enjoy the equestrian competitions in the summer Olympics though.
