Yes, this was the day. I took her to Emancipet this morning and picked her up this afternoon. I tried to do it in January, but she got sick.
The lady who brought her out said that she was so cute - and she is. They put a little green collar on her with this big tag, and I was telling her that the tag is as big as she is.
Mentioned it to the wife and she agreed, but also pointed out that it covers up her "beauty mark." I call it her "Twinkie" cause it looks like that spot on a Twinkie that you can see the cream filling.
I guess the collar is coming off because we don't want to not see her little white spot. Only white on her.
She's kind of stumble-y from the meds she got, but she's all purrs and happy to be home.

I misspelled your title and I read 'Opal got payed'. When I read your discussion, I realized my mistake. :)

@ElicBxn Holy Crap! 4 pounds??? Bless her heart. Yeah, it could have been extremely dangerous for Opal had she have gotten pregnant.

I keep debating having Scar neutered to get some of the aggression out of him, but I just haven't really decided.

some breeds of cats and dog are more prone to cancer issue if you do not... I heard sometimes it takes their aggression out sometimes it does not... My male cats are so lazy usually aggression is not an issue.. :) Then again my females are good at keeping them in line...too.

@ElicBxn To a cat even play is serious warrior business. I know my hunting alpha cat is serious she broke a really thick oat twig sliding across the yard to get her prey.. she hunts daily.. she is outdoor feral.. ...i think she could bite a human finger off.. just remember to never use what you wear, fingers or toes... or they think that is ok.. but i noticed cats love to play with anything you can drag along the ground and lift fast...
