This is the time for Peltophorums to bloom an indication that summer is round the corner. My camera has not done justice to the actual view. The spread runs into several feet and it will continue blooming for atleast a couple of months. Month of May will be the time for Gulmohurs. a bright red crown.

It has come up on its own. Probably a bird is responsible for that
