Yesterday´s dinner for two.

Yesterday, only Humberto showed up for dinner. Dixie was very ill. It seems she had eaten something bad and was intoxicated. My poor friend had diarrea and had been vomiting. We talked and Humberto told me about his latest adventures at the sea. He is not sure though that they can manage to have a week off for a vacation in Brazil this winter. He spent more than a week more sailing and he had to work full time to cover the expenses. The potatoes (papas a la huancaína) were a huge success. He begged for more potatoes and I had to put some to boil while we ate the tuna. I forgot about the potatoes on the range because we were both stuffed. Only when I went to open the outdoor fence from the kitchen did I smell that something was burning. The water was gone from the pot and by a second the pot did not get burned. I had fun and I now have enough leftover to eat with Leticia. Humberto did not dare take with him any food I had made. I guess my dear friend will have to be eating soups for some days.
