No wall will ever work.
Do you see other countries putting up walls? Well do ya?
I wish they could put it on the ballot sheet and read as follows :
ARE YOU IN FAVOR OF A US/MEXICO BORDER WALL? YES or NO
I would vote NO.
Donald Trump’s most consistent campaign promise — to build a wall on the United States’ southern border to keep immigrants out — will be a waste of time and money, the head of the Customs and Border Protection agency told ABC News in a final warning just d

Have you never heard of the Berlin Wall? It was made to keep people in, not out and it worked very well. Then there was the Great Wall of China, the wall around the Vatican, walls between Morocco and Merilla, Hungary and Serbia, Turkey and Syria and on and on.
Why not build a wall?

@lookatdesktop I disagree. The message thst is sent is that we value immigrants who have already come here LEGALLY and established themselves, while not wanting ILLEGAL miscreants, terrorists and riffraff just looking for a handout.
There's a big difference. No one has said we don't want immigrants. We still welcome well over a million new immigrants each year. DIversity exists here, believe me.

@peavey , Well, at the very least, the wall sends out mixed messages. I bet those who are about to be deported, those DREAMERS, feel like they have been scorned and shunned.

Waste of money, time and sends a bad message to other countries like saying, KEEP OUT OF AMERICA BECAUSE WE DON'T WANT YOU HERE. That is not the right message for the USA to send because if not for immigrants, America as it is today with all the diversity would not be possible.

I would solve it in a different way. I would just buy Mexico and let them join us and follow our laws or leave. We could use the vast resources and work forces of that country. If they were part of America, then the problem would be nipped in the bud in a second.

@Courage7 , AS it stands people have many different beliefs and religions and freedom to follow their own direction so if people want to celebrate 2 piece Tuesdays that is fine with me. LOL

This is where you know people are doing things more to piss people off than actually being rational and fixing problems. This idea is pure hate in my opinion and their hate is costing all of us money.

It does seem to convey a very negative message.

@BelleStarr , Yep. It's just a matter of perspective. " There ain't no good guys. There ain't no bad guys. It's just you and me and we just disagree." - DAVE MASON
