since someone else spoke of them,i remembered a story told to me by a friend about the large food saver type bags, that have the sealing machines..
she said when she sent her son away to college, one of the things she gave him for his dorm room was a food sealer.
now she thought he would use it to save leftovers and not waste them.
a month after he left,a large package arrived for her in the mail..
upon opening it...
she found a bag of hermetically sealed laundry.
the boy sent his clothes home.
the socks alone made her want to faint.
i really don't get the level of lazy that was..i mean,it had to have cost more to send them than go to the laundrymat himself.
i don't know..maybe he only liked the way his mom did them?
kids.what're ya gonna do.

Well, I have to ask did he ever do his own laundry because if he did not. Then that is probably what that was. He did not know better because no one taught him or explained to him. I mean probably would have been easier and cheaper to just do the laundry himself. That being said could have asked someone, but that could have been embarrassing for him.
When I was in the Marines and a young buck I had to ask my roommate how to use an ATM machine and that is one place you do not want to look like a fool, but at the same time knew their was no calling mommy. Boy my face was red and could hear the murming run down the line.
