Greggs Bakery driver Jon Gowing is being called a hero for his quick thinking when he opened up his delivery truck to hand out free donuts and cakes to motorist who were stuck in a snowy road in Lindisfarne Northumberland which is located in the United Kingdom.
Due to the power of social media, the actions of Gowing handing out free cakes and donuts to the stranded motorists made Gowing a hero instead of getting in trouble for giving out free food.
Gregg's people and retail director Roisin Currie praised Gowing for his quick thinking of assisting stranded motorists on the highway since the company will gain new customers based on the giving principle.
