Sometimes I think that law has giant holes through which some people get away with anything, including murder, while others pay for small problems with the law for ages, even for life.
I have felt that the US law has such holes. The last big murder that will not be paid is the murder of O.J. Simpson to his wife and her boyfriend. Shame!
Read about it online. I am shocked. And this is not the only one.

I saw that he was going to be on a show this week to talk about 'what happened', but didn't catch the day.. will have to look it up to watch it and see what he says.
But yes, many are innocent and suffer in jail for long time while the guilty are set free. its not fair, and needs to be changed. maybe one day.

I wish I could find out more about it from more credible sources that TMZ and other gossip sites. And Fox News.
What's infuriating is that even if he confesses to the crime on TV, he can't be charged with it anymore since he was acquitted already and double jeopardy is in place. The best that can be hoped for is that he'll get charged with something related to it that he hasn't been charged with yet.

This is not the only case where something like this happens. The rich and the fmous can hire better lawyers to have them get away with what they do.

It's so unfair that wealthy and rich people can hire high-priced attorneys like O.J. did and get set free even though they're obviously guilty, while the average person can't afford top lawyers.

That only shows that the law is made for the rich. As the health system too.

I know. What I don“t understand is tha the system could let that happen.

@LadyDuck I suppose the law has flaws everywhere. Only, in the US, there is so much violence that it is known more.

@marguicha It is very sad that criminal may escape due to poor laws.

I'm sure there wasn't a single logical person out there who thought he was innocent. He even wrote a book a number of years ago where he said "if I did it, it would have happened like this." He basically confessed there.

It is not enough for people to "think" that he was guilty. The important thing is to judge him accordingly and place him behind bars. And I mean him and all of the murderers (specially rich) who get away with what they do.

@marguicha Well, he had a great lawyer. It's why the absurdity of that case is mentioned so often. People thought that it was crazy he got off at all.

@Daelii The result should have been a fair one in spite of his race and of his being a celebrity.

@marguicha what bugs me the most about it was how it was made into a race issue.

He confessed that he did it, but he cannot be punished for it.

I think almost everybody feels or at thinks that he is guilty, I think what is flawed with the justice systems are the technicalities that good lawyers know how to exploit, to be able to hire good lawyers is what the rich and famous have an advantage over mere mortals.
I just content myself with the thought of a natural law like karma.

I think that society needs to be protected in a better way than with the aid of karma.
