This is one story that will make up jump for joy. Evony Williams, 18, who is a waitress at a Waffle House in La Marque Texas assisting an elderly man to cut up his ham since he was not able to cut up the ham due to his disability.
The elderly man had recently had an operation which prevented him to cut up his ham so he politely asked Evoni to cut the ham for him.
Evoni did her job to assist the elderly man which gained praise from the people in her community for her kind act toward a customer.
La Marquee Mayor Bobby Hocking issued a proclamation at the restaurant where Evoni works for her act of kindness.
And to top it off, officials with Texas Southern University presented Evoni with a scholarship of $16,000 which will be divided for the four years she will be attending.
Evoni will continue her work at the restaurant to help pay for her future education at T S U.
Just remember that doing an act of kindness can reward you in ways that you cannot imagine.

Very nice of everyone. Evony was more that repaid for doing what many young people should do for the elder. Good for her and good for the Mayor and for the university.

@Deepizzaguy I wish there were more policemen where I live. My neighborhood is becoming dangerous.
