I am from India. We use ‘Turmeric’ a nutritional supplement and spice almost on regular basis in our cooking. This is a rhizome that is grown in India, which is used in raw form in the states like Kerala and Bengal. While in other states the rhizome is dried and then made into powder to use it in cooking. Turmeric believed to have many health benefits. It is an anti-oxidant, anti-carcinogenic, anti-inflammatory It helps in improving memory; it helps in reducing risk of heart diseases and also has benefits against depression! Did you know about these facts about the wonderful Indian Spice ‘Turmeric’? Do you use Turmeric in your cooking? Thanks!
