Hello everyone.Back from sunny and cool Florida.
The first part of the week was sunny and warm.
The lower part cool for this time of the year.
We had a great time.Feeling good about the sun and the sand.
Lots of traveling around in Naples.
Do I want to move there.Not.
I have no desire to live there at all.Yes it is warm.
New England is my home and I intended to stay till I pass.
Yes it is cold in the winter.I am used to it.
Florida is not my thing.Golf,pickle ball,etc.
this will be my last trip there.No desire to go back.
Will tell more in my next post.
For now.Glad to be home and home is where the heart is.

I am glad you had a good time in Florida. I am sure I will make another trip there in the coming years.

Yeah, but NO NOR'EASTERS in Florida! I think I'd rather endure pickle ball than three nor'easters in a ten-day span!

We were just south of you on Fort Myers Island, we walked the beaches but never tried to get into the water, our condo had a heated pool and the pool was protected from the wind so it was delightful. Only one day I saw people in the water and the temperature by the pool that day was 90.
I certainly don't want to live there but I enjoy it for a few weeks to get away from the snow. Next winter the plan is to do Mexico for a couple of weeks and Florida to visit relatives and find a nice beach for a week or so. Two weeks was too short for us but we had appointments scheduled that we didn't want to change. My husband is Greek and he turned brown easily, I got a bit of tan but that is all, I am too fair to not use sunscreen.

As much as I love the hot weather I won`t move to Florida either, I love my trees.

@andriaperry it was not hot and not even warm.The first part of the week was warm then cool off at the end.

I am sorry you do not want to go back to Florida but happy for you that you are happy where you live. Nice picture of you. You look happy.
