The sign said "Swing High," so I did!
We were having a picnic at a 190 acre park in Colorado Springs, Memorial Park, at a playground called "Swing High."
In addition to playgrounds, Memorial features an ice arena, an indoor swimming facility, a skatepark, tennis courts, softball fields, a large lake (Prospect Lake,) on which you can windsurf, lots of grass, and a memorial to local firefighters, which looks very much like the Vietnam wall.
And every July 4th, the Colorado Springs Orchestra sets up and plays while the city shoots off a boffo fireworks display for thousands of people. It's quite a fun experience.
Not as fun as swinging high, though. That's a blast!

The last time I was swinging high was when I walked the Capilano Suspension Bridge in Vancouver BC a few years ago. It was a very windy day and the bridge, which is well over 200ft above the canyon, was swaying in the wind!

I uaed to bail out all the time when I was a kid. We used to have distance contests to see who could bail the farthest.

I used to swing really high and now I would not know if I would be able to do the same thing again.
