Yes! This happens with me always!
My name is srividhya but no one pronounce my name correctly, other than my parents, relatives and close friends! People always mispronounce my name..
Instead of srividhya they'll pronounce my name as sridhivya ...or some even call me as shrinithi... which is no way connected with my name.. lol.
Before and all, when anyone pronounce my name wrongly, I'll be
. But now I got used to it.. he he

I have a simple name so this is a problem that I rarely encounter.

My name is mispronounced all the time. It doesn't bother me. I suppose I've gotten used to it. As we say in the southern US, "call me anything, just don't call me late for dinner."
