I was going to have a nap. But I turned on the TV and there it was: a very interesting and moving documentary about one of the most loved actors we have had: Robin Williams.
That makes you think about the pressures that celebrities have and the little doctors can help (if they are kind enough to do so).
Many times, I have felt that doctors have acquired riches with their celebrity patients and have lead them to an early death.
What would if...?
Elvis or Michael Jackson had had other doctors?
What if...?
Marilyn Monroe had received more help?
Many of these bigger than life celebrities died young and were not helped.
Do you feel as I do?

Marilyn Monroe didn't want help. It's all fine and dandy to play the what if game, but if the person doesn't want help it doesn't matter.

@thislittlepennyearns Many of those people have loved ones who can make them seek help instead of getting out of their way.

@marguicha you can't force someone to get help. They have to want it. That is generally the case in situations like this

Yes, I believe their fame was what put them into a state of depression, they were trapped by that life-style!

@marguicha I feel so bad about Robin Williams! I loved his personality and wonderful sense of humor.

I totally agree. It is tragic to have such a waste of talent and so terrible for these actors to have to go through things like this.

@marguicha much like all of the rehab clinics they have for celebrities they should have a psychological center set up to help them with depression and other diseases that inhibit them and make their lives miserable.

@JudyEv I have heard it from a couple of psychiatrists. Depression is a terrible disease.

Yes, it does. Although not everyone can be helped. But at least we can try.
