Lunch: packed or bought?

For those of you who go out to work, do you take a packed lunch with you, or do you buy it? My office is right across the street from a Subway store, so in the past I have sometimes just ducked over there to grab a sub. Now I am trying to cut bread out of my diet, so I am back to packing a salad or something similar.

I always took my own lunch. Often it was a packet of instant soup and a small tub of yoghurt.

Prefer packed lunch since I know what exactly I'm eating.

Now I work at home but in my younger days, I worked in NYC. There were plenty of places to have lunch. I never bought any from home. The only problem was that I started to gain wait from fast food. So I made the choice to have lunch at salad bars or there was a nice Chinese buffet so that worked better for me.

When I worked, I spent my entire working life brown bagging it.

If I like the food at home, I packed it. If I do not like the food, I will buy outside. But packed food are far more delicious than the food you buy outside.
