who, how or where did you learn about mylot? what made you join? what are your expectations here?
mylot is more about making friends and sharing and learning from each other.
we earn when we receive likes, responses and comments.
but don't post numerous discussions, either, without interacting with people, or they will start ignoring you.

@ladyhanndor There are, unfortunately, many blogs and articles out there which are hopelessly inaccurate, either because they are refering to the old (pre-2013) version of myLot or because they are just wrong!
It is really easy to check the real facts by reading the official documentation (in this case, the Earnings Program FAQs and the Frequently Asked Questions pages, both of which you'll find listed under "Help" in the menu beneath your username.

@owlwings Yes that's what I thought and learned when I signed myLot after reading a blog. But myLot turnes out to be a good place to express oneself and earning is just a bonus.

I guess even here questions are good because they get conversations going and that helps grow the discussions. It is kind of fun too to understand what others think and write about. I find we get more in every way by interacting with others but I'm not a good example because I write too much sometimes. Others do too but if you just want to make money I think you have to interact lots and lots. lol

I read a blog about platforms that gives support or answer questions as a way of earning and one of them is myLot. I haven't understood yet at that time how this myLot works...that's why I mentioned queries.

On this site you DO NOT earn for posting discussions or for posting responses/comments. You earn when others respond to your discussion, comment or response. And it seems also when they "like" what you have posted on the site,

The first step for all newbies is to read the Guidelines to learn what is allowed or not on the site. Then you can write a post introducing yourself. Tell us a bit about yourself.
Furthermore, read around as much as you can, Like and Comment on other members' posts. Only then will members come to your site and do the same. This is called interaction.
Don't expect too much money-wise. If you reach $5 a month (the payout limit), you can call yourself lucky.
