Hannah who is a female Beagle was reunited with her first owners who live in Winter Haven Florida recently. Hannah was adopted by Jeanie Rodgers when Hannah was one year old, 11 years ago. Jeanie had to put Hannah for adoption a few years later when she contracted Alzheimer's Disease when had her placed in an assisted living center. Hannah was then adopted by another family where she was with them for the next several years before she disappeared two years ago. The second owner of Hannah thought that their dog died in an auto accident. Hannah then wandered around the state of Florida for the next two years until she was found by a Polk County Animal Center officer named Lynn Davidson two weeks ago on the side of the road. Hannah was in a weak state when was taken to the animal shelter when the officials of the animal shelter found out who her owner was due to the microchip inside of her. Scott Rodgers and his wife then reunited with their dog since Scott wanted to honor the memory of his late mom by reuniting with Hannah who is around 12 years of age.

That is true since being on the road for two years before Hannah was found by the animal control officer and reuniting with her owners was a great story of survival.

Yes since her owner admitted that her dog remembered her despite being lost for a long time.

A lovely story. Microchips will now be mandatory in my country.

Microchips are a great boon and makes finding owners of animals a lot easier.
