The Life of a Cancer Patient. / myLot

March is about to end. I still have April & few days in May, to celebrate! May 10 will turn my life to either left or right, again. After another series of needles prickings & being shoved to that thing I call tomb-like machine, the Docs will pronounce a verdict: Do I have it again or Not yet? This has been ongoing since 2001. Quite a fight, I should say. Many of those who started the bout with me are now in high heavens. I get to pray for them during death anniversaries. They're quite many to count now. Me? No. I will not be among their numbers. Not yet. I know God is not finished with me. I still have a lot of birthdays to celebrate with my loved ones; got more plans for wedding anniversaries with the only man in my life; will still bring to the altar on their wedding days 4 more out of our 6. Got one granddaughter now. 2 more will be born in May. So, with more reason for me to opt for life in that same month. With God's mercy, I will be up & about untill a baby from our 6th will be born. Why? Because I love life! The life of a Cancer patient.

For a cancer patient, I admire your so much for your happy and fighting spirit. That is the spirit, hopeful always and leaving everything to God's hands.
