Bad news

The hamster died. No, I didn't kill him. We think he probably died of his injuries. At least I won't die of mine. But its hard to do things when half your fingers are hurting.

Its my wife's hamster, but I rescued it from the cat. I'm more upset that all my injuries rescuing the thing were for nothing.

Yeah, I'm sure that's what it was - she got a new one last night, we named her Mocha. This morning we couldn't find her, then, she suddenly dropped down from somewhere, so she hadn't escaped.

The wife wants to go get another one today, but my sister is in from out of town, I'm going to push back and ask the wife to wait until Tuesday night.
