Perry Martin had a fairy tale ending as reunited with his cat who is named T 2 which is his nickname for Thomas Jr. who ran away from a home of Perry who was in Stuart Florida after the aftermath of Hurricane Jeanne in 2004.
For the next 14 years, T 2 had been living with a foster family in Florida until his latest foster family in Stuart Florida where Lisa Wadsworth adopted the 18 year old tabby who looks like a kitten.
Since the Wadsworth family had a dog in their home, they could not keep T 2 and took him to a veterinarian who found a microchip of T 2.
The veterinarian at the Humane Society of the Treasure Coast who implanted the microchip was able to contact Perry Martin in his home on March 9, 2018 that they found his cat.
Perry who was a former K 9 officer traveled to his destination to reunite with his cat and bring him home.
T 2 is now spending his remaining years with his owner and a one year old Golden Retriever named Sassy in Fort Pierce Florida.

Thank you George what a beautiful happy ending. I want to cry while reading this. i know my cat does not go out but more and more I am thinking that maybe I should have her vet put a chip in her.

@Deepizzaguy That's a long time to be apart even for a pet.

@JudyEv It really is. Perry had to put his cat to sleep shortly after he reunited with him since his health was really bad for an old cat.

I am sure the owner of the cat cried tears of joy when he reunited with his cat after 14 years of separation.

It really is an amazing fact that a cat reached 18 years of age.

@just4him The story had a bittersweet ending since Perry had to put down Thomas Junior a few days after he reunited him since the cat could hardly walk anymore.

That cat has lived longer than one might expect.

That is true since Perry believes that Thomas Junior must have had a lot of foster families in the Florida section that took care of his cat for the 14 years he was separated from his cat.
