Good morning everyone. I hope you slept well! =) Things are great here! We woke up to see another day, we can share God's love today, and we have so many things to be grateful for--even on the days that aren't the best. Today is my mother's birthday. I called to wish her a happy birthday, knowing it wasn't happy at all so it just felt strange saying it. My parents are in NY right now. They will be going to my uncle's funeral later today which is why it's not the happiest birthday my mother has ever had. I still wanted to call and let her know I was thinking of her though... Today is the usual here. I am babysitting, Home Schooling my kids & the kids I'm watching will be joining our studies, doing chores, we will be going for a walk at some point and the kids are having a sleep over! =) We might bake cookies or something fun for the sleep over. Remember God loves you and it's never too late to find Him. Seek Him and you will find Him! If you need prayers today please let me know!! I love praying for others. =)

Do you teach Bible too? I mean I know you teach your kids the Bible, but do you have a curriculum? I went to a Christian school, and our first class was always Bible. A few teachers used curriculum, and a few wrote their own lessons.

@LovingMyBabies Since my dad was a pastor that meant we went to church 3x a week plus Sunday school, Christian school (including chapel), church camp, summer Bible school, and every revival the church had. A counselor I once had asked me if I thought my parents had overdone it. But I think when you immerse your kids in the Bible, it seems normal, and that's what we want, right? Although I won't lie: I resented church camp. It was so hot! OK, I also admit I sneaked out of church early one revival service, and would have gotten away with it had my sister not been home sick.

@AmbiePam No I don't have a curriculum for anything I teach. My children learn from real life faith, going to church, reading the Bible in our family Bible studies and worship music.

Happy Birthday to your Mom, even though she may not be spending it in a way that she'd like, I still wish her a wonderful year full of good health and happiness. And I hope that your home studies and babysitting go well today, I cannot think that they would go otherwise with the kids all looking forward to the sleepover.
