I mean, I don't like personal details about what you had for lunch, dinner or breakfast. What's your size or what you love doing! For me discussions regarding how you help others on different topics, be it earning, job related or taking them out of their blues is most interesting. I think some of you would agree with me if not all

I miss Russ Teed. :) He could come up with silliness that could make everybody laugh. LOL. Then again there was another person whose posts I used to check frequently, deeply in love with his wife. Not Uncle Joe. This gentleman had kind of indulgent type of view towards his wife..... I could almost think of him treating her like Clark Gable treated Vivienne Leigh.

Anything that will catch my attention, and anything that I can relate to. I seldom comment on the post that I don't know how to react or what to comment...

@luisadannointed In fact I am a traveler with a camera. I come from Himalayan region but live in a region which is surrounded by ocean.

I don't like religious topics but when it comes to something that interests me it can be anything that I can relate to and often the conversation will go off on a tangent and I will be chatting about something that transpires from the initial comment.

@suni51 There have been a couple of religious posts since I came back and one resulted in someone deciding to leave. As soon as someone starts quoting the bible I'm out of there!

@sprite1950 Nothing new, the site always had religious people talking about religion and cursing the non-believers or even the ones not interested to talk about religion.

Same! Religion is something that certainly puts me off! Most people think that most people from my country are over religious but the fact is people are free to have faith in their own religion but talking them in public especially with the ones not interested or unfamiliar with those traditions would either stay away or soon disappear. I love talking about funny and jolly things or what gives me something to learn about new things.

I read discussions on varied topics.I do not mind reading what one had for lunch, about books, movies, music, places where they spent their vacation, etc and I do like to read about sites where people earn online.

I don't mind what books, movies, music, places they enjoyed or where they spent their vacation but what they ate for dinner or lunch is certainly not my concern
If they had fun by going out and shared that with us, they're certainly welcome to share it with us.
But how would you like me to start a discussion with a one liner-
I had Gobi Manchurian this evening- great taste!
Tell me what's there to discuss about?

@suni51 Have you ever come across such a one liner'' like I enjoyed....great taste.''?
You can make a discussion out of it,if you explain where and when you had it,with home. What type of cuisine it was etc...

Discussions that can at least give me a reason to think til my head aches. Something that is mind buggling to the core because those give more room for questions and answers, therefore having real conversations.

Oh yah? I have not posted anything that would give you a headache so far though but let me think something to make your head spin
On a serious note, yes, but what I heard from the seniors that asking questions is not considered the right thing here. Maybe, you can ask for solving the problems and be as specific as possible. I agree forums and discussions are all about solving each others' problem

@mlgen1037 True, once the conversation begins there is no stopping question and answers but right in the OP it's probably forbidden... Am I right?

@suni51 I see. But what I meant is in conversation itself that you can ask questions about what the discussion posted. Hehehe
But for now, all discussions are fine. They still create conversations.
