I think most of us or i should say some of us like to have butter and its pretty common in India or in specifically Punjab to have Butter with Food or Butter in Food and in different dishes which adds a distinct flavor in the food.
Mostly in the villages here, Most like to have home made butter as its good and pure and now even in Cities also some like to have it home made and its good as well. But i like the home made as well but i enjoy the packed/branded ones more.
What about you? Have you ever tried the homemade Butter? please share.

I am not sure. It is so much easier to buy it in the store!

I have made homemade butter before and it was delicious. What sets it apart is that there is no added salt. I put some cream that I skimmed off the top of fresh cows milk into a mason jar, put the cover on it and shook it until it turned into butter! :-)

As I have made small quantities of butter from cream a few times, I guess I can tell that "I have tried homemade butter". However, most of the time I buy my butter already made, it is cheaper than to make it from cream when one has not a cow, and there are very good industrial butters. I have to add that I am from an area where we use more oil than butter to cook.

No, i haven't tried it yet. But my mom says that homemade butter is tastier than the one we get at stores.
