I just received a mobile phone call from my colleague Miss FCT; it is for tomorrow’s activity in her house at 5PM. My phone was on silent (mute) mode and I was seated in front of the television watching my favorite Saturday afternoon drama series, and I noticed that one of my phones had a lighted screen. I immediately looked at it and saw that Miss FCT was calling me. I swiped the phone and communicated with her.
5PM- she said we will meet at 5PM in her house. She sounded so far, because the volume of the phone was at a minimum (or maybe it was on mute mode?). My son said he will go with me but I told him it is only for the clinical instructors; besides, the sun will still be setting at that time of the day.
It is now 6:17PM and it is not yet dark. God willing, I will be home tomorrow before 7PM.

@ridingbet In late June we have light up to 9:30 in the evening, this is not something I like. Nights are no more cold, the temperature is around 8 Celsius during the night now.

@LadyDuck really? wow!and how much more where the sun never sets? we learned in world history about places, example, "the land of the midnight sun". this is a country in the European continent, am i right?

yes, i believe so. June 21, the longest day, is fast approaching, and summer here is not yet officially declared. (maybe because it is still cold at night- and this is coming back every now and then?)

I've had my phone on mute before and missed calls, sometimes important calls and people get annoyed with me!

@sprite1950 right now, i put off and back on my mobile phone. i forgot to put it on mute so i myself was surprised with the sign off and sign on of my phone.

me too. my 3 phones are on mute when i go to bed because i play candy crush, and, naive me, i always ask my son if the caller can hear me if my phone is on mute mode. so ignorant me. hahaha
