There have been Twenty Six Years of the End of the World.

Since I've been alive, there has been 26 years in which the world was predicted to end. This year marks the 10th year in which the world wasn't predicted to end in that time. Some of those years had multiple events and reasons for why the end would come.
In those 26 years, there were 60 different reasons for why the world was supposed to end.
In 1982, there was a newspaper that came out with "The Christ is Now Here!" and apparently would make himself known in the two month period from when that was published. I'm a bit disgruntled to say that I was born during that interval. Maybe that's why I don't like the guy! He outshone my arrival. lol
Anyway, why wish for the world to end, or hope it will, when it just keeps on going?

Exactly. Why worry for a publicized end when it could very well be any day?

Well, there were a ton in the 70s, and the 26 years I've mentioned, so anyone older than me surely have been through a ton.

@OneOfMany Doing alright. Been busy doing other things, that's all. I don't remember that occasion. Some day the world will end, I hope to be on the winning side and that's all that matters in the long run, I think. I don't think it's today, that's the closest I can come to a prediction.

@Rollo1 It's a busy life. It's easy to get caught up in it!
I don't think it's any time soon. There's not enough going on!

You mean I'm not? I was born when Jesus was reborn, so doesn't that make me qualified? lol
Maybe I was the counter force born to balance things out... if he's the christ, does that make me the anti-christ? Oh dear... I have to take over the world soon!

These reports drive me insane, I think David Icke is the worst offender, he predicts the biggest load of bull and yet people still believe him

@OneOfMany Yes they seem to make money out of their absurd predictions. I think Icke does readings and has written books. How can a person be wrong so many times yet still have a following?

@sprite1950 "Because they are human, and humans make mistakes."
But seriously, one time wrong would be enough for me to not believe them.

I like when someone is wrong, and then they make other dates, only to be wrong over and over. The guy who did the rapture had people giving away all their money and everything else.
