How many of you have photos or albums of when you were small and then grew up?

I remember when I went back to where I was born in 1987 and wanted some pictures of me when I was a baby or little and my mother's house was not in good shape so could not take my baby picture and other pictures and was very sad. I have one picture of me when I was 6 years old and use it a lot.
How have you discovered that your old pictures of you when you were young are damaged or cannot be found?

Hanni, I have lots of them at my parents’ house. I had lots of ny childhood memorabilia there. Hehe

That is great Louise. By the way thank you for saying you cannot understand how us Jews feel and how we have been treated throughout history. There are those that think they know but they have no clue. Empathy is fine and I welcome that and thank you.

@Hannihar I can get to them anytime as my house is 3 streets away from theirs, Hanni. I can walk to their house in 10 minutes.

Of me there are no photos at all or anyone else.
Our house was not in good condition at that time.
I have photos of me but much more into my teens than anything else.

I am sorry your house got damaged and you have no photos when you were young. I also do not have photos when I was young and saw my baby picture but was told it was damaged. I should have taken it but did not know I would learn computer graphics and maybe could have fixed it. I am sad that I have one picture of me I use a lot but not others to use. I am glad you have some in your teenage years.

I saved all my daughter's photos from her birth till now. My mum saved my photos when I was very little, but not many.

My mother took photos and turned them into photos, she put them in books and dated the photos with the names too. I am so glad she did that, Its a wonderful thing to look back and see. I'm sorry you didn't get the same thing.

Unfortunately, all my pictures were damaged during the typhoon in 2006. Our house was flooded. That was it.

My mother takes a very good care of this pictures. None of them is damaged, she put most of them into an album.
