Did you know you have the coolest name. Cheers was a bar , oh wait might have been a cool tv show. I impressed quite a few people by going to a bar and they would yell at my name. They would be in such awe, this place is just like cheers. Well done and these scam sites are a tough learning experience.

First you should read all the reviews on that site , and make sure they have proof of payment..

I've only actually been scammed by one site and I think the only clue was the earnings were ridiculously high. It was called Cyberwage, a fairly new site at the time but one day my earnings were set to zero and they claimed they had been hacked. I learned from a forum that other people had experienced the same. The earnings were never recovered.
It's always good to read reviews and see what other people have found although some will say a site is a scam when it's not. Maybe they broke rules and got kicked off. If a site has been around for many years it's usually a good sign that it is not a scam.
Apart from those things the best way is to try it and always cash out at the minimum amount so that you don't lose a lot of money if it is a scam.

A legit online earning site won't ask you money for a membership fee.

I normally look for blogs online that critique these sites. Some list all of the legitimate ones. Many are survey sites though.
