It's a Blizzard Out There

At least it looks that way to me. The National Weather Service is calling this a winter storm. However, when you can't see out your windows when you wake up, and when you get a close look through said windows, and see it blowing at the 32 mph it says it is on the weather report, and the snow is coming down like crazy, yeah, I call that a blizzard.
Above you see the pictures I took of my windows, and off the Internet news/weather site.
There was supposed to be a ladies brunch this morning. Called off. I'm still waiting to find out about church tomorrow, but I expect it will be canceled. From the look of things, I won't be going to the pool on Monday either. Tuesday, no doubt, I'll be going to the library while they plow the parking lot of the snow accumulation.
They are calling this a record April snowstorm. We've already got more than they expected and have added to the snow totals by four inches, so we could get a foot by the time all is said and done.

Looks like Spring will be in delay as the snow storm is still coming. Hoping all will be okay there, Valerie.
Us here wish for snow because it is really hot here.

@just4him Yes we have here, Valerie, and it is in an amusement called Star City. I tried twice and we were chilling cold inside.

I hope the storm doesn't make its way here! I am so sick of winter weather. We are expecting freezing rain tomorrow. Not happy about that. Tomorrow we celebrate Little Miss turning 3.

Well it is hot here. The temperatures are near 40 C max during day time. Nights are pleasant but we are expecting some heat waves later in May and June.

@just4him well we try to drink a lot of water and avoid harsh sunlight. However today I had to go out around 1 pm in harsh sunlight to buy something.

It must be pretty tough living in such conditions. So people must have to keep good food and other supplies at their homes.

Oh girl, I saw that on the news. My daughter in Nebraska wound up with snow too. The last weirdo snow storm that I remember was in April 1975 in Omaha, Nebraska. The day started out at 75 degrees and within 4 hours it had dropped to 34 and a blizzard. We got hit with a strong thunderstorm here in Texas @just4him . And yeah, no pool time for you.

I'm not moving from my apartment this weekend. Tuesday will most likely be the earliest I'll be leaving here. I'm still waiting on word about church, and usually not even snow will keep me from church, but this might. I'm expecting it to be canceled.

Ours is better then yours, but it's been crazy. We had thunder and lightning all day yesterday and rain, rain and more rain. Now we have gone from hot weather to being really cool today.

I just looked at a weather map showing thunderstorms for your area and lots of rain in the south, then wildfires in Texas and Oklahoma, and our blizzard. Yes, the weather has been crazy lately.

We're getting hammered, royally with a blizzard and it's a bad one. Jay is still on these roads delivering mail, which doesn't make me very happy! We aren't getting a heavy accumulation of snow, but lots of sleet and frozen rain.
