BEST SYSTEM OF GOVERNMENT

I would have said military government is the best but it violates the rights of citizens, I would have said capitalism is the best but it goes with exploitation, I would have said Socialism is the best but causes dependency on the government, I would have said democracy is the best but at times, majority goes wrong, e.t.c

Democracy is good if the people are disciplined. Might as well be socialism if people will just depend on the government on just about everything.

@twieesmiley I live in a country that needed several thousand years to become a democracy, so I keep my democracy, the choice of a majority of people is rarely wrong, and it is easy to fix a wrong choice with another vote.

I still feel that democracy is best form of Government as it is 'By the people, for the people and from the people' ! People may err for a tenure or two but they realize their mistake and get corrected themselves! majority can never go wrong! The system is good but you need sincere and honest people to implement it! Thanks!

I think that the democracy is the best system of government. When voting happens the result must be totally true. I don't like having a coalition government because I have seen each has a different idea and often there is no middle ground. A military government sounds very scary to me. I thought that in socialism everyone was meant to have equal wealth. I think of the Eastern European countries that were in the socialist bloc of Russian influence. I visited the German city of Berlin and learned about the Berlin Wall. Some people tried to escape from East Germany to West Germany when that wall was around.
