I'm starting to see a light at the end of the tunnel

It's been so busy, I haven't had much time to sit down and post.
Tomorrow most of the kids will be in school, and everyone will be in class by Tuesday. That's a huge hurdle crossed, and I hope makes a difference at the custody hearing next month.
It also means that after Tuesday morning, the house will be quiet again... at least for a few hours. 
There are still more things that we have to do (appointments with specialists per the doctor's referral, dental appointments, a pediatric ophthalmologist appointment for the younger boy, etc.), but I'm starting to feel like we can breathe again.

Custody hearing, that sounds scary! Taking care of our children is eventful, with lots of appointments to go to:)

In this case, it's a good thing. We filed for the change in custody. She abandoned the children, so she should stop getting the benefits.

@kobesbuddy Agreed! Unfortunately we still have to have the court declare that, he can't just stop paying child support without something official in the record.
