Political Ads

I have been hearing some political ads on tv recently that really make me wonder. There is a governoral election coming up. One keeps stating how proud he is that he faught to keep "traditional marriage" in. Another one says he want to make schooling better here so kids will want to stay. Well, if they keep gay marriage off the table a lot of young couples that are gay will leave here. And, what is so cool about "traditional marriage"? This is 2018, not 1935. Closed minded and old fashioned politicians sure aren't going to get my vote. We need to welcome all people not just certain ones.
Is your area the same way? How do you feel about "traditional families"?

We have a lot of kids who are growing up without a father, or without a mother, and being abused by the boyfriend/girlfriend du jour of the parent that is around. We certainly need something!
