She was the wife of a president and the mother of a president. She died on Tuesday surrounded by family at her home in Huston Texas. The matriarch of a US political dynasty, she once said she was more than just a pretty face. She was married to George H.W. Bush for 73 years and mother of George W. Bush.
Among other things, she was outspoken and a strong advocate for literacy and an author.
She leaves behind her husband, five children, 17 grandchildren and seven great grand children
