Top Songs of 1991

The biggest song of the year 1991 is one of my favorites “(Everything I Do) I Do It For You” by Bryan Adams. It spent a total of seven weeks on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. This song was featured on two albums. The soundtrack from the 1991 movie “Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves” and on Adams sixth album Waking Up the Neighbors. The Song of the Year was the beautiful song “From a Distance” by Better Midler. It was featured on her album Some People’s Lives. Finally, the best song of this year was “Smells Like Teen Spirit” by Nirvana. I know the band but I do not know the song so perhaps someone can enlighten me. What do you think of the songs and the artists?

Ohhhhh ! These songs run in my blood. Amazingly enough, I ve been playing some of Bryan Adams songs today over and over again. He and Bette are one of the greatest singers to date.

Smells Like Teen Spirit basically kicked off the Seattle grunge movement.
