Did not know Lauren Graham was a novelist

I am currently reading a novel called Someday, Someday, Maybe written by Lauren Graham, the actress who played Lorelai Gilmore on Gilmore Girls. I did not know she had written a novel until I read her memoir Talking As Fast As I Can: From Gilmore Girls to Gilmore Girls, and Everything in Between, which I thoroughly enjoyed. I am enjoying the novel so far, though at times I find myself thinking of other things when I am reading the book. Wonder why that is... Do you ever find yourself thinking of other things while you are reading a book? Are there any actors you like that you didn't know where novelists or authors in general?
