a tale of the littlest prince who ever lived

United Kingdom

Once upon a time there was a dashingly charming young Prince who married a beautiful non-Princess. One day they made their kingdom proud by having a jolly little bouncing baby boy. The kingdom - and the world - cheered, and there was dancing in the streets. Then they had another baby and their kingdom was all, Oh, ya. That's good. That's nice. She's so cute. Look at her cherubic little cheeks. Two wasn't enough for this royal couple, so they popped a third in the oven. When St George's Day arrived they thought it would be comical to go into labour, so they did, what with George being the Patron Saint of England. And, lo! A baby boy was born. But, d'oh! They realised sadly that they couldn't call him George, for there was already a George. Oh, and the kingdom? The kingdom said, Oh, a baby, and continued on with life, like having a baby is the most natural thing in the whole wide world. Which it is. Bless the wee little lad ... he looks just like a new born baby. The End.

They said months ago the baby was due (naturally) for the day of St George and the baby came.

@Poppylicious Kate looked so relaxed and fresh only a few hours after giving birth. This sounds like a "miracle", or the baby was born the day (or two) before.

@LadyDuck There was a lot of talk about that, but it was baby number three and she does have a team of people tending to her! I'm sure that the moment she got home she slobbed out and slept!

@poppylicious Methinks it’s vasectomy time for daddy before they inflict any more babies on us. I’m exhausted cheering and my anxiety levels are through the roof as I wait to hear what they’re going to call him.

Bless you. I think they'll go for a fourth. I think they like standing outside that hospital.

Gorgeous, yes, that's a vaguely George-like word. If you squint a bit...

@Poppylicious You left us hanging here. What did they decide to call him if not George?
