Which Would You Choose???

Every time I am working in my kitchen, I wonder what it would be like to have a new kitchen. I would love to have my kitchen remodeled. My kitchen is small so I am not sure that it would ever be what I want it to be.
Another room that I would like to have remodeled is my bathroom. I think I would like to expand the bathroom to make the linen closet as part of the bathroom and have built in cupboards for our towels and other essentials.
These are just a couple of things that I dream of doing to my house, but they are for now just dreams. If you were to pick a room in your house to remodel which would it be? Kitchen? Bathroom? Living Room? Or Your Bedroom?

I would just love a new kitchen as mine is looking a bit dated now and it's quite dark so I would like some lighter cupboards and worktops.. My bathroom could do with a bit of updating too although it's a matter of money as these are expensive projects.

@morgoodie A lot of people here put it on their mortgage or take out some other kind of loan but I don't want to do that.

That is the crux of my problem. Money! I would love to be able to change both of mine. One day in the far, far future.

@sprite1950 I would have to get a mortgage and right now I can't afford the bills I have let alone add another one to it. Hours have been cut at work so now I have to try and pick them up when I can. Plus, my sister is going to be off for nearly 2 months beginning next week because she is going to have surgery. So I have been hitting my online sites in my spare time trying to make a little bit extra.

I always want to have a well ventilated and spacious kitchen. Right now my kitchen is small and needs more cabinets.

@morgoodie Same here I want a bigger kitchen where I can move around too because our kitchen is too small. I always stay in the kitchen and hoping one day I can remodel this.

I would love to have a bigger kitchen just to have more room to move around in. I have plenty of cabinets so I don't have that problem, but I would like to change the color and maybe add some hardware to them.

I am glad that your new house doesn't need to be refurbished. My second choice would be to move into a new house that wouldn't need to be refurbished, but I think that is an even bigger dream than just remodeling my existing kitchen or bathroom.

@id_peace I definitely don't have the money for moving into a new house, but maybe when my children move out I will downsize to an apartment so I don't have to worry about the maintenance and upkeep of the house. So for now I will probably try to save up for some remodeling work to be done.

@nela13 That's the best way to do it. Then you end up with things you will like for a longer time than if you just bought things without searching for the perfect items. Good Luck.

The living room sounds like a fun place to start. Have you been planning it or going to start planning it? I think I would change the color of the walls and put in new baseboards. I bought new curtains a little while ago so I did do some changes to my living room.

My house is fairly new so it doesn't require much remodeling but I would love to have all the rooms painted and enjoy picking out the colors.

I love picking out paint colors although I hate to paint the rooms. I hope you have fun picking paint colors out when you go to paint your rooms.
