Puppy credited for alerting his owners of a house fire

A story that is bittersweet to share since a family of four lost their home on late Sunday evening but thanks to their puppy who is mixed breed male named Onyx they came out alive. The name of the family victims was not released to the public since they are in shock that they lost their home located on Beegee Court in Woodbridge Virginia, Onyx altered his owners who are two adults and two children aged one and three years of age that a fire began on the outside of the house before the smoke alarms went off to warn them of danger. Even though the family of four lost their home to a fire, their neighbors are assisting to rebuild their loss of property and clothing.
