My friend had her baby

They had a baby girl on Monday at 7:37pm on April 23rd. Her name is Hope and she was 6 pounds 5 ounces and 17 1/2 inches long. They found out she has the same disease as her daddy called BOR.
(Branchio-oto-renal syndrome (BOR), also known as branchiootorenal syndrome or BOR syndrome, is an autosomal dominant genetic disorder involving the kidneys, ears, and neck.)
Her BOR like her dads has to deal with the liver. She will be seeing specialists and right now she is doing really good otherwise. I do believe my friend had her a week early by c-section. I am glad they are doing good because she has been having a very hard time getting pregnant for a while and when she finally got pregnant, I was so proud to hear it. I am very happy for them right now.

I am happy for your friend, Nikki. I am sorry though to hear that she has BOR. I pray that this cutie angel will grow up healthy and happy.

Beautiful baby girl sorry to hear of the problems it has. Is it something that she will have to live with her whole life or is this something that will go away with time.
