Good Thursday afternoon to all of us. I left the house at 7:50am then I arrived home at 11:50 this morning. We had the summative evaluation, supposedly scheduled from 8 to 12 noon but the other clinical instructors and the hospital admistrative nursing personnel came at 10AM. It is hard to wait really.
Before the activity started, we had some pictures with my colleagues here in my phone. After the activity the students also took turns in shooting us.
Then, the level 4 students suddenly approached us and asked to hug us I hugged them all.
I am a tight hugger. And I felt my students hugged me tight too. One male student asked me for a hug, and he whispered, "Ma'am I will miss you!" I felt a lump in my throat as I replied, " I will miss you too "
I got misty. They followed the hug with a "Ma'am, thank you for everything." I felt happy because they acknowledged our responsibilities in to molding them to become like us.
Are you a tight hugger?

yes, they will miss me because of how i teach them and how they learned from me. you might not believe it but their logbooks since 2nd year which i told them to keep it, are still in their possession. they even brag about how many corrections by me do they have in their logbooks.

@ridingbet I said it generally/socially. At home the case is different.

The last time I hug my network leader was when we had a church activity.
But yeah, it is really not good to wait.
