This frightens me a lot same as thunderstorms. Any natural calamity is not interesting at all

That sounds scary. I heard in some places in my country, some people had been struck by a lightning.

In the stories of the Chinese cultivation. Whenever you have a very severe thunderstorm, someone or some creatures are facing the final test by heaven through striking of lightning at them. If they survive, they will ascend to the next higher realm. Note that it may not be heaven but their lifespan and ability will increases. If they failed, they will be striked down. There was a story of a man in thunderstorm saw a snake trying to ascend. It ended in failure which the villagers still pick it up and bury it.

Wow, that is pretty incredible! Sounds really frightening.

That's massive. Andhra Pradesh has toiled a lot of natural disasters. Hopefully everything will be normal.

I could not find the info, but read somewhere at one time North Carolina gets most lightning strikes in US. I am not sure was there 3 years and yes some, but definitely not enough to make me say that is true. Iowa was bad when we went there 5 or6 or 7 years ago. I was a bit scared and in a car. Safest place to be as long as no tornados. California has the worst lightning storm I have ever seen in 1994 or 1995. My Sister and I sat in the middle of the floor with another 2 dogs who damn near killed themselves they were so scared. and you could feel electricity in the air. 14 deaths from one lightning storm is a lot, must have been bad also.

Same here, at least 150 killed in one day due to thunder storms and lightning. The important crops are floored ... tough time ahead as the weather prediction is alarming.
