Do You Feel That Cheerleaders Are Important?

I think they are an important addition to all games and I think these days most of the sports are taking the services of Cheerleaders and I'm sure most college teens love to try it and some even make this as a profession as well.
There are some that don't think cheerleaders are required.
What's your take on this. Do You Feel That Cheerleaders Are Important? Please share.

Yes, I think so , because of these Cheerleaders the people who are not interested in the actual game may watch the game just because of these Cheerleaders ! 
And on serious note what is the harm if people are provided with a alternate profession with which they can earn, name , fame and money dear friend @thesupersingh! Thanks!

I think cheerleaders just sexualize young woman and it is ridiculous, they could cover up and still encourage the team!!

Probably not. Unless your team is losing by a lopsided score. Then you could cheer them.

Of course cheerleaders are important! Just like with anything in life it is important to have someone in your corner CHEERING you on. I know there will probably always be a debate about whether or not it should be considered a sport but I do believe that cheerleaders are important.

Though not essential to the real game, they do add some extra zest to the game. Cheering brings fun to the game. They make it more lively and add some extra charm on field. And it also gives some extra job or alternative job options to those who need it.

Yes, I think they are important. I was also reading on the Internet that they make between $75 to $150 a game, sometimes even more. Cheerleaders also help the athletes to build they able, giving them confidence to win the game.
