It's Children's Day Today in Korea, and we are just staying at home. I am annoyed that my husband did not inform me. Okay, I actually forgot it ,too. I am not Korean and I am not very much familiar with holidays here. After having our lunch , he said " Today is children's day." He should have told me so we could celebrate it with my daughter. I know my daughter, who is two years old, do not understand what children's day is but I just want her to enjoy the occasion. I told my husband , " we should celebrate" . He said,we have already celebrated because we went to the nearby playground this morning. My daughter woke up pretty early today that was why we went to the playground so she could also get her dose of vitamin D from the sun. If I had known earlier that today is Children's day, I could have brought my daughter to the Zoo or Kid's Cafe.

Families usually bring their kids in the park. Malls are not very popular here. Most people are usually in the park, cafes or restaurants.

Filipino. We had stayed in the Philippines for eight years before we decided to live here for good. We usually go on vacation in Korea twice a year. We arrived last April 11 and we will be staying here for good.

It's not today here in Switzerland. Children's Day will be Tuesday, 20th of November. Here it is celebrated since 1925.
