I want to get lost in your dream.

Have you ever read a book that was so damned well written that you just wanted to get lost in the author's dream reality?
When this happens, it is so much a miracle of mind travel that I journey into the mind of the writer and enter into his mind scape and I am lost in his dream and I never want to escape. But as the story comes to it's ending I sometimes cry because I feel like I woke up from a dream and entered back into a hellish nighmare reality and finally come down to earth and realize that this reality is not a nighmare, but the place from which I will take my next journey into the mind of another writer's dream scape and once again submerse my mind into the fantasy and wonders of another writer's imagination and from there I become something different for at least as long as I am able to remain in that moment of higher expectations.
From the author of Ready Player One, a rollicking alien invasion thriller that embraces and subverts science-fiction conventions as only Ernest Cline can. Zack Lightman has never much cared for reality. He vastly prefers the countless science-fiction movie

Being inside an author's dream world, is awesome. For about two days, I'm living somewhere else, for a while.

@lookatdesktop Books are a great getaway, from the norm where I live.

You should write that as a poem. That was very poetically philosophic.
Yes I have encountered such books and authors. The stories are very well written and do create a fantasy world for the reader.

That is the sign of a really good writer that we can go on a journey with them.

Yes, I do, Anthony. I always like to imagine what happened. I am a sucker for that. Makes my mind wander.
