A very interesting story from Bakersfield where one employee at the Motor City Buick GMC auto dealer felt pity for a female stray dog that was seen at a baseball game at Bakersfield College.
The female dog who is a sheep dog named Lexie was outside a baseball stadium in Bakersfield when Mercedes Thayer who is employed by the auto dealership adopted the dog since Lexie has an attitude of showing love to everyone she meets,
Mercedes did use social media and called up several animal shelters to report if anyone wanted to claim Lexie as their pet.
When Mercedes asked her boss if Lexie could be the mascot of the dealership, the answer from the ownership is "Yes."
Lexie is now the mascot of the auto dealer with the moniker "Lexie The Mutt."

Great job of management to accept Lexie as their mascot. And good for auto sales too!
