dirty Macy

My son bathed 3 dogs this morning: the 2 Japanese spitz and the pomeranian Chibi. Chibi, after the blow - drying is always brought inside the house where he shakes himself vigorously. The first Jap bathed after Chibi was Xander. He is put in the cage after towel - dried and blow-dried and he looks so beautiful with his very white fur. He even looks like a white fox. Then Macy was the last to be bathed by my son. When Macy was done, my son would let Xander out of the cage so Macy goes in. That happened successfully. But when it was time for Macy to go out of the cage, she went running to the lawn that has no grass but land. She laid and turned vigorously, that her fur looked dirty. My son re - rinsed her but then she went under the car. Now, here she is, looking brown and white. But she has the beautiful pair of eyes that we could melt when we 'scold' her. Do your dogs toss and turn on the ground after their bath? If so, then we as fur parents belong.

@ridingbet But I do not think shouting at them is not going to help.

@silvermist that is true. i always call her attention but she is so hard-headed and does not believe in anything i say, unless it pertains to any pains and aches she feels in her body

yes she is, but may i ask why you do not give your dog a bath? maybe because you bring your dog to a veterinary clinic where they do the grooming of your dog?

@ridingbet I don't have a dog now. When I had her I only took her to the vet for shots.

Putot used to that after taking a bath. However, we tend to have her collar and let her fur dries.

i think dogs want to have their backs scratched? hahaha. that is what xander always does; he leans over the thorny green plants near our garage and moves along.

That is a beautiful dog. I used to have one few years ago. For some reason, DJ never roll on the ground after bathing. No toss and turning. I'm all eyes because I do not want him to get himself dirty after bathe.

right now, it is raining heavily and Macy was outside. son called her and she shook vigorously. son wiped her with her towel while berating her;"Macy, you are so dirty again".

Sandy does not like to get a bath either. She will do the same thing. It can be aggravating.

I'm sure she doesn't care whether her hair is dirty or not. She just wants to play outside. lol

Most dogs toss and turn on the ground, especially after you bath them.

i wonder why you do not want to have pets. maybe something unfortunate happened to you? dogs can be vicious guards at home.

really? why don't you bathe them? don't they feel irritated with the heat of their bodies? they somehow need to refresh themselves with water and soap
